Pilgrimage for Peace
All of us have seen the news from Minneapolis of people killed and conflict in the streets. We know that even here in our own community there is a great deal of violence. The Pastors of several downtown Harrisburg churches, wanting to respond to this without the usual partisan bickering, have organized a Pilgrimage for Peace on Wednesday, Feb 4 at 3 pm. We will meet at Market Square Presbyterian Church on Second St., have a blessing, move to Salem UCC at 3rd and Chestnut for a scripture reading and proceed to other churches along the way, ending at Pine Street Presbyterian Church at 3rd and Pine Street. This is a way to witness to the love of Christ in this difficult moment.
