At Old Zion’s annual Strawberry Social, you will enjoy their traditional homemade chicken corn soup, then homegrown, ripe strawberries combined with cake, ice cream, and whipped topping. A cup of iced tea is included to help you “wash down” this HUGE dessert.
Located at the historic Old Zion Church in Brickerville, this community event takes place on the lawn, so bring lawn chairs or blankets, food trays, and your friends to enjoy a beautiful, old-fashioned summer afternoon.
The view of Brubaker Valley from the church’s hillside is simply lovely.
Proceeds from the Strawberry Social go toward helping to maintain and preserve quaint Old Zion and its surrounding grounds and cemetery.
