Search for Chancel Choir Director
1 Choir Director would be the piano accompanist for the choir; a separate organist will lead the
worship music.
2 Anthem Every Sunday for 10:15 a.m. Worship Service from the Second Sunday in September
through the Sunday before Memorial Day. Also Christmas Eve one service, Ash Wednesday,
Maundy Thursday, and possibly Thanksgiving Eve.
3 Rehearsal Weekly One Hour – preferably Thursday evenings.
4 Rehearsal at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday mornings; worship at 10:15 a.m.
5 Choir Director would select anthems in accordance with the Church Liturgical Year and the
Lectionary of Scripture Readings and in coordination with the pastor.
6 Choir Director would maintain/organize the anthem library.
7 Choir Director would be a believer in Jesus Christ as Savior and a believer in the Trinity of God –
Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
8 Details of Employment would be discussed and decided after a satisfactory trial choir rehearsal
and interview.
