Transitional Regional Conference Minister – Region 2

The Rev. Dr. Nora Foust is a life-long UCC member growing up in rural North Carolina where she served her local and wider church in myriad ministry including: youth leader, Deacon, camp director, association stewardship associate, and outdoor ministry board member.

Nora is serving the Keystone Conference as Transitional Regional Conference Minister for Region 2 which includes the Mountain Valley, Schuylkill, Harrisburg and Central Associations.

Pastor Nora has served as Associate Conference Minister in Penn Central Conference since 2016. She started in judicatory ministry with the Southern Conference where she served as Placement Coordinator and Minister for Church Affairs. She was the head staff at Black Lake Retreat Center. Her first career was teaching high school history, followed by a few years in college athletics before going to seminary. Nora is a teacher at heart and approaches everything with a lens for learning.

Nora graduated from Elon University (BA’98), Duke Divinity School (MDiv’07), and Lancaster Theological Seminary (DMin’22).

She lives in Harrisburg with her husband (Mike) and teenage son (Josh), along with their dog, Argyle. Their daughter (Mckenzie) lives in NC with her husband and two grand-dogs.
