Ministers who serve local churches are likely to be familiar with the use of a call agreement to negotiate salary, benefits, and time away. A separate document, the 3-Way Covenant, is not as widely known, but can be very useful for further outlining the expectations that the Minister, Local Church, and Association or Conference may have for one another.
