Grant Schedule

For Mission Grants with two award cycles per year:

January: Committee reviews forms and processes and considers changes that will improve things.

February 1: Release and publicize spring application.

April 15: Deadline to receive reports for spring grants awarded the previous year.

May 1: Deadline for spring Mission Grant applications.

Mid-May: Committee meets to review previous year’s reports and consider new spring applications.

June 1: Notify churches about award decisions.

Mid-June: Distribute awards in a way that encourages visibility/publicity.

August 1: Release and publicize fall application.

October 1: Deadline to receive reports for fall grants awarded the previous year.

October 15: Deadline for the fall Mission Grant applications.

Late October or Early November: Committee meets to review previous year’s reports and consider new fall applications.

November 15: Notify churches about award decisions.

Late November or Early December: Distribute awards in a way that encourages visibility/publicity.

For other Mission Grants:

Camperships: Submit in a timely manner to allow three weeks for processing. (This does not apply to Campership applications directly to camps being submitted with a discount code.)

Continuing Education Assistance for Individual Pastors/MIDs or for Groups of Pastors or Conference Groups: Quarterly deadlines March 31, June 30, September 30, December 31.

Gwilym T. Williams Reimbursement Grant: October 1 for summer/fall term; March 1 for winter/spring term.

Henry Berg Scholarship: Submit by June 15, for award decision by July 31.
